In this episode of Live Your Best Laugh, I sit down with the wonderful Liana Oldham of Flow and Glow with Liana, whose passion for movement and wellness radiates through everything she does.
We dive into her journey from academic pursuits and jazz dance to a life dedicated to yoga, Qigong and helping others reconnect with their bodies and hearts.
Liana opens up about rediscovering herself after motherhood, the power of giving ourselves time without guilt and how tuning into practices like flow dance meditation can shift our energy and bring us back to joy. We get real about the parallels between birthing a business and growing through yoga, the magic of witnessing people reclaiming their spark and the importance of presence, even in the tiniest everyday moments.
If you’re craving practical tools, gentle encouragement and a vibrant reminder that joy is always within reach (no matter what life throws your way) this episode is for you.
Liana is a seasoned Yoga Teacher, Menopause Health Coach, Conscious Dance and Meditation Facilitator. Wellness is her passion and full-time occupation: her work and her hobby.
She teaches weekly Yoga classes, runs workshops and retreats that intertwine disciplines from Yoga and Qigong, conscious dancing and sound meditation. She’s also a Reiki Therapist and holds a free monthly Menopause Café open to the community in Billericay, Essex.
Liana started practising Yoga in 1997. In 2017 she became a Yoga Teacher and after so many years of discipline, methods and routines she slowly navigated towards the gentleness of Qigong, which gradually led her to tune into shifting energy in an organic way.
This led her to enjoy forms of conscious dancing and last year she qualified as Flow Dance Meditation facilitator. This fills her heart up with joy as she guides participants into this practice that combines elements of free form dancing with state of flow through music.
