John Milham has worked in many fields, but here he talks about his coaching and mentoring, with a particular focus on men’s health and mental wellbeing.
Mental health is a huge issue in our community. John, who grew up on the Northern Beaches, relates his own journey ‘back from the edge’ of grief to the work he does now and shares his views on this important subject.
Alan Stevens is a facial profiling and communications specialist. He’s also a grandfather of six and a genuinely interesting guy.
Growing up, Alan wasn’t good at connecting with people. All that changed at age 23, when he was moved into a supervisor role and had to learn to read the people he was managing. This led him into running his own business and a lifelong interest in facial profiling and body language.
Alan talks at length about this fascinating topic, as well as his initiative, ‘The Campfire Project’, which gives people a place to tell their stories.
He’s a name that we’re all familiar with – multiple Ironman winner Guy Leech.
We remember him as a hero from when we were younger, but how many of us know the great things he’s up to now?
In this edition of Flow, the host Matt Tanks, asks Guy Leech what it was like to grow up with a passion for winning. He explains how his life lessons started in the pool and allowed him to morph into his current life of happiness, contentment and success. He applies the very principles that made him a successful Ironman applying them to his business ventures and his love of fitness and wellness and living the life being the best he can be.
The Mayor is back! After a wonderful stint in the hot seat as our opening guest, Mayor Michael Regan agreed to up the ante and invite local business owners and managers to grill him about Council, COVID and anything else that they could think of. Rosie Villella of Community First Credit Union and Michael Flynn of Drummond Golf Dee Why join Matt this week to ask questions about business and to ask your questions from the Northern Beaches COVID lockdown business survey.
