FLOWING WITH THE MOVE OF THE SPIRIT

It's always my prayer and yearning that the Holy Spirit stirs up your soul to come to that place where your heart is flexible to His moving.

Genesis 1:2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness [was] on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

Revelation 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.

Throughout the Bible, it says; "the Spirit came upon", even to the church at Pentecost (Acts 2:2).

It takes me and you individually or as a fellowship to create room for this Godhead (Holy Spirit) who is responsible for the manifestations that we long for.

This necessitates us to deal with and get rid of things that may grieve, resist or quench His work.

We need to go after Him with all our hearts because His presence is the ultimate answer (Ecclesiastes 3:14).

1 Corinthians 13:9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part.

It is so easy to pray, fast, and seek God and miss out on what you have prayed and fasted for because it didn't look like or come as you had figured it out in your mind.

That's why we need to have an open spirit and learn to appreciate whatever God is doing in the lives of people so that we do not miss out on what is happening.

God doesn't use you alone; He can use anybody or anything at any time and If you haven't acknowledged it, you haven't known brokenness.

You can't draw close to the throne of grace and your heart remains the same; true prayer or drawing closer to God produces brokenness in the hearts of men.

Luke 9:29 As He prayed, the appearance of His face was altered, and His robe [became] white [and] glistening.

Transformation is one of the signs that a woman or man has touched the heart of the Lord. When you see no transformation in the life of a man, then know that they are under religion.

That's why you need to cry to the Lord to help you produce that level of humility such that you do not miss out on the move of the Holy Spirit because He often shows up in a way that you do not expect.

Throughout the scriptures, different people missed out on God because they had expected something different about how He should function and move and by the time they woke up, things had passed.

Isaiah 55:6 Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.

If you miss those moments when He is around, you may later seek Him in vain.

That's why the Lord is calling us to a life of deeper fellowship with Him. Remember, Intimacy is a currency in the spirit with which you will exchange things that faith cannot do.

I pray that you will heed the voice of the Lord, humble yourself, and allow the Holy Spirit to carry you.

Allow Him to work on your heart and let Him alone be your center of focus because It's all about Jesus and not us.
