Quand Jean Toba a composé cette suite à base de flûte et de musique funk, il l’a terminée brillamment par un hommage involontaire à Jimi Hendrix. Ce sont les notes, les sonorités et un thème un peu solennel qui ont fait revenir en lui des souvenirs et, entre autre, le souvenir de l'hymne américain repris par Jimi Hendrix en grande forme et très inspiré au festival de Woodstock en 1969.

When Jean Toba composed this suite based on flute and funky music, he finished it brilliantly by an involuntary tribute to Jimi Hendrix. It was the notes, the sounds and a little solemn theme that brought back in him the memory of Jimi Hendrix playing the American anthem during the famous Woodstock festival in 1969.
