Fly Like a Bee…But Don’t Actually Try to Fly Like a Bee

Listen Later

NASA has a poster hanging with bees that reads:
"Aerodynamically a bee's body is not made to fly; the good thing is that the bee doesn't know."
How do I know that "NASA" has a poster with bees that reads this? Because I saw it on Facebook. Certified proof of this claim's validity.
The law of physics says that a bee cannot fly. The aerodynamic principle says that the breadth of its wings is too small to keep its huge body in flight.
But a bee doesn’t know.
It doesn’t know anything about physics or its logic and flies anyway.
Let's learn from the bees. Fly and prevail in every moment in the face of any difficulty and in any circumstance despite what they say.
But don't be like this guy.
This guy tried to fly like a bee, and look how that turned out.
Moral of the story is take inspiration from where you can, but be aware of your own limitations.
If you want to start a business that requires $30k in startup costs, but you have $30k in debts, you're not a bee. You're in debt. All the inspiring memes on #SaveFacebook won't do you a lick of good.
Best to work within the constraints you have in your environment than think you can do something you can't.
Start small, cultivate relationships, let people get to know you; when the time is right, they'll buy from you.
