Welcome to the quarter finals of the 🏆 Fly Man Yann Aviation World Cup 🏆 ! We are leaving short haul economy behind… In this round, we are stepping straight into the exclusive world of short haul business class!

Eight airlines remain out of the original sixteen, and today, our first massive knockout match puts the pride of Ireland, Aer Lingus, against the ultimate flag carrier of style, Air France. One of these premium products will secure a spot in the semi finals. The other is getting cut from the tournament today. The premium tickets are booked, the lounges are open... let’s see who survives the ultimate short haul business class duel.

Today we are putting two entirely different philosophies under the microscope. Aer Lingus is bringing their premium AerSpace product onboard the Airbus A320 out of Dublin (DUB), promising a guaranteed empty middle seat, dedicated overhead bins and local Irish catering. On the flip side, Air France is weaponising their brand new ultra modern Airbus A220-300 out of Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG), featuring massive passenger windows, upgraded cabin tech and classic French hospitality. We’re pushing past the business class ticket cost to see which airline offers a true premium experience on a short flight.
