We’ve all been there, unless we fly first class. Seats getting closer together. Having a passenger recline their seat into your face. Liquid spilled on us. Grumpy flight attendants. My question is: if we want to recline our seat do we ask the person behind us? Do we just tell them we are reclining or do we go ahead and do it? Is polite passé on a plane? Have we becoming herded sheep getting on and off the “friendly” skies? I’ve had terrific experience on planes: Aloha Hawaiian and thank you, Alaska. AND some horrific experiences: I’m looking at you American! Here’s my take on the foibles of flying.
