This presentation will demonstrate how the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health team responded to COVID-19 and the challenges experienced in the community.

With working and community relationships impacted, teams had to learn new ways of communicating and engaging with the community. To support the community, they implemented a flu vaccination clinic in a pandemic environment, conducted follow up phone calls from fever clinic presentations and helped community members to emerge from isolation as quickly as possible.
