As somebody who only really played numbers 1, 2, and 3 on release, in the main Resident Evil series, when I got this book, I didn't think that it would really be for me. However, Tommy Keough has structured a book that is both full of information about the horror franchise, but also accessible for just snippets of information. From the first, the classic mansion-based story, all the way to this year’s Requiem, it has about the games’ stories, locations, how they were received, and much more! He has biographies of the heroes, the villains, and of course – The monsters (‘B.O.W.s’, which I found out means Bio-Organic Weapons!).
Theres some glorious pictures to accompany the information, screenshots, game cases, artwork, and these will delight and disgust as you can imagine, with such delights as Lepotitsa from Resident Evil 6, a game I haven’t played, so haven’t come across the gas-spewing, slimy looking B.O.W. that looks like it is covered in weird mammaries on it’s entire body, which is both hilarious and gross in its appearance. Also, don’t worry young gentlemen of the world, Lady Dimitrescu is there too!
All in all, a great book for fans of the series, and those wishing to know more about Resi, as it is a lot bigger than just 9 main games, though just those 9 are giants of the gaming world!

In this episode, we cover Rockstar getting hacked—with nothing GTA-related stolen—plus Fable’s concern over clashing with the GTA 6 release, and the launch of the Evercade Nexus, conveniently around the same time. Seriously, is there any gaming news not tied to GTA 6?
We also dive into Roblox’s new parental control and safety features, debating whether developers, parents, platform owners, or others should take responsibility for issues like predators and unwanted purchases.
Tom pitches a hilarious game idea—if you’ve seen the intro to *Look Who’s Talking*, you’ll know the kind of racing game we mean—and we probably talk about it way more than we should. We wrap things up chatting about games we’ve played lately, including Viewfinder, Championship Manager, CDi’s International Tennis Open, and a dash of Fortnite for good measure.
