We're coming up on the end of February 2022. Today is the last Friday of February. Monday will be the last day of February. Wow. Two months down in 2022. When you look back, what have you accomplished in the last two months that you set out to in 2022? What keeps you from accomplishing that? I can tell you. I can tell you it's one thing that keeps you from accomplishing what you're wanting to accomplish. It's what I've been talking about the last couple of days and that's mindset. Your mindset is critical to the foundation of you maintaining success, not of success, but maintaining success. And we get caught up in the ways, the hows, the twos, the wheres, the wins, the whys, I think I already said whys. We get caught up in that instead of maintaining our mindset to achieve the purpose that we were given. I talked yesterday about your unique purpose and every day programming your brain to achieve that unique purpose. So what are some other ways to maintain your mindset? One of the best ways of maintaining mindset is to focus on your health. And I have a love/hate relationship with health. Like I love to be healthy, but I hate to be healthy at the same time. When I was a younger, teenager, young adult, it was easy. It was easy to be healthy, eat whatever the f*ck you wanted, go to the gym. It's all good. And then 30 hits, 30 is an *sshole. Let me tell you we're not 30 yet, it's an *sshole. If you are 30, you know what I'm talking about? Metabolism starts to change a little bit. Your body composition starts to change a little bit, and as you get older, it continues to change. And then what does that do physically to you? It begins to show a different you. And then all of a sudden, your mind starts telling you, you suck, when really you don't suck. You just need to change what it is you're doing. You need to be willing to evolve with time. You need to be willing to adapt to the changes that are happening to you physically. And I let 20 years of not wanting to change affect me. And so now I struggle with maintaining health. And those times that I work on health, my mindset is the strongest. The times that I don't work on health, sometimes it's the weakest, my issues with depression. I don't mean like the sun isn't shining today, so I'm not feeling good. I'm talking like manic bullsh*t depression, where you contemplate life. Issues with wanting to just not do anything, and having melancholy days, like those things are affected by health. And when you have, when you're not focused on health, then you're not focused on becoming the best version of yourself. You're not going to produce at the level you need to produce at, you're not going to follow your purpose. You're not gonna achieve your purpose. So one of the best ways to maintain a good mindset is to focus on health. Focus on the food you put in your body, focus on activity and focus on limiting substances. That changes the way you think. Alcohol, drugs, obviously, and focus on putting things into your body that make you at maximum optimization. If you're a Ferrari, you don't want people putting 87 octane in you to run that engine, like give me the highest octane let's go, and your body directly affects your mind. And if we're putting in bullsh*t octane, you're gonna get less output. So what are you doing on a daily basis to impact your health? What are you doing on a daily basis to impact the way you feel based upon what you're putting in your body, based upon the activity that you're performing, focus on your health on a daily basis, it'll help you to change your mind, transform your thoughts, and you'll DMN8 the day.
