In our previous episodes we’ve covered basics on how to start taking photos and finding the perfect gear. Today we’re going to talk about getting out there and start practicing.

* Think about what you want to shoot—choose a theme and plan accordingly.

        * Give some theme examples (Abandoned, architecture, alleys, books, cars, flags, forms in Nature, transport, weather)

        * Check the weather!

        * You’ll want to carry the proper gear (I.e. If you’re going on a photowalk you might not want to carry a lot of bulky gear. When going out in the     Great Outdoors you’ll want to wear appropriate clothing.)

* If heading out to a different location, get info about the the place. You don’t want to drive out to a place that’s not open to the public or doesn’t allow photography.

* Take a buddy with you

    * Fun and helpful

    * Burner phone with good signal!

* If your plan doesn’t seem to be working or conditions change, adjust your plan and shoot something else. Change presents new opportunities.
