Philippians 2 is one of the great “Christological” passages of scripture that teaches much about the humiliation and the exaltation of Jesus Christ. In reading this passage we rush to verses 5-11. Those verses were used as an example to us as to how we are to deal with others.

Jesus came for us. He humbled Himself to the cross. He suffered and died and He rose again. If He could humble Himself, then certainly, we can too. We are to love one another.

A Pattern For Loving Others. (Philippians 2:5-11)

I could even add that there is a Price to loving others. It was a high price that Jesus paid. We are to walk “in His steps.”
