Focusing On Discipline

Discipline is one of those things that falls under the category of difficult but worth it. 

Discipline is simply doing what needs to be done regardless of how we feel. 

We all have those moments where we know exactly what we need to do but we are not at all in the mood to do it. Just like muscles in our body this should be viewed as an opportunity to grow our discipline muscle. 

It’s in the moments where we don’t feel like doing something but do it anyway that we become stronger. 

Discipline can also be linked directly to our own level of responsibility and accountability. 

If we don’t feel like doing something and we don’t, we can only look back at ourselves.

Discipline serves as a perfect mirror through which we begin to see our truest self. Because of the brutal honesty discipline holds we can’t ignore it. 

When we start to become un-disciplined we create a negative loop where we feel worse because we skipped the thing we knew we should have done and subsequently feel worse about ourself as well as developing a bad habit. 

However on the flip side, when we are disciplined, we start to create a positive loop and everything else seems to become easier and easier. 

Pursuing the difficult is always the worthwhile pursuit no matter how difficult it may seem. 

Being disciplined enough to push through the "hard" will always yield bigger and bigger results that grow exponentially through each disciplined pursuit!
