CJ's journey included enrolling in a photography certificate program where he was worried that his gear wasn't good enough. His teacher told him that it's the photographer, not the tool, that makes the photo. This piece of advice served CJ and was able to establish relationships with his peers that allowed him to learn and grow. Currently, CJ is capturing the world around him, he doesn't focus on external validation, but on the joy that his images brings him.
