Fode and Beed

The Fode and Beed show returns for the 2025 Vassal World Cup! We say goodbye to one host, and welcome 2 new voices to the show. Will data and facts prevail, or will they be buried under big parcel of nonsense? Join us to find out!

raely42, ArmchairJedi and VWC champion Arcwelder get together to talk about the last game of the event and then go through Arcwelder's path to victory!

raely42, ArmchairJedi and returning guest Stewbucket shoot-the-shit with absolutely no plan for a solid second-to-last episode! We talked about the finals fleets, and things we'd do differently next year in both the organization of the event and the podcast!

raely42, ArmchairJedi and King of Jank Mr. Louis Andre himself talk about jank and dark horses. All 3 are sick, but all 3 give a good podcast go anyway. Armchair finishes off with his lovely recap of the last 2 weeks of the event!

raely42, ArmchairJedi, and m3rcier talk about that objective data for the survey ya'll submitted! What gets played and what gets flipped, and what you can prep for (by the numbers).

raely42, ArmchairJedi and Machi talk about bids, 1st vs 2nd player, strategies around these things. We get deep into AmrchairJedi psychology only for him to ignore the question, then finish off with a recap of week 1 of the Swiss.

ArmchairJedi plays both Fode and Beed tonight as raely42 takes a ski trip to Hoth. mmusterer navs in to talk about speed 2 ships and how they've faired in this year's turbulent meta and in the VWC itself. In our Swiss recap we suggest that the shame may have passed, like a fleeting shadow, and we miss a golden opportunity to use the hype horn...

raely42, ArmchairJedi and guest TheRedScourge talk about squad build patterns in the event and then do a recap of week 3.

raely42, ArmchairJedi wheel FoxOmega44 out of his retirement home to talk about the faction and commander spread in the VWC 2024 compared to last year, and discuss what it means for the health of the game. ArmchairJedi gives a recap of week 2 of the VWC.

raely42, ArmchairJedi and Stewbucket discuss Stews rise to power, a few things they noticed changed in fleet stats from last year, and a recap of week one of the event.
