Welcome to Foggy Oak Scary Tales! This October, we're sharing kid-friendly spooky stories and fairy tale retellings that spark imagination and thrills. 

We’re beginning this year’s Foggy Oak Scary Tales with an adaptation of the Grimm’s Fairy Tale “Godfather Death”, published in 1812 in the first edition of Kinder – und Hausmarchen (Children’s and Household Tales) as tale number 44. 

It's a tale of love, and greed, and loss. Perfect for Halloween season bedtime listening, this scary fairy tale keeps the magic alive while giving brave kids the chills they're craving. Stay tuned for more October spooky stories!
