In this episode of the Two Wings Seminar, Dr. Vicki Dunnam speaks of learning analytics as new and emerging within education. Learning analytics is a method used to extract data stored within learning management systems (LMS) and can be used to examine students’ online behaviors and patterns. This presentation will reveal the results of a correlational research study examining students online interactions using learning analytics. This session will be ideal for university administrators, instructional designers, and faculty wanting to learn more about learning analytics and how this data can be used to examine quality online courses and can be used to examine student learning and success in online courses.
