This week the world lost Pete Seeger, a true giant of the folk music scene. For seven decades, Pete was at the heart of American folk music and personifies protest music. Here, as a tribute to the great man, we at FolkCast have dipped into our archive to present an edition of our long-running Story Behind The Song feature, to showcase a song that was intimately tied to Pete Seeger throughout his long career.
