Luke, in his Gospel, encourages us not to be like King Herod or the troubled inhabitants of Jerusalem. Act like Jesus! Our preference might be to follow a king like Herod, as no demands are being made - or so we think. However, we should follow and obey the One who suffered for us. Jesus is not selfish, but invites us to come to Him. Let's do that.
