Follow the rabbit

One of the beauty of the French language is definitely its profusion of quirky, funny, poetic expressions... and I know it does not always make sense when translated into English leaving often French culture/language lovers completely flabbergasted... but isn't it part of the charm of the journey afterall?! Oui, oui, bien entendu ! In this episode, I will dissect a popular french expression "poser un lapin" which basically means "to stand someone up" but interestingly the french expression involves a little furry animal: a rabbit (lapin)... strange and funny isn't it? Why a rabbit/lapin to talk about someone who is flaky and stood you up? The answer lies in today's episode, enjoy!
