Your follow-up game strong. Do you take no for an answer and then end the conversation. I see this all the time in groups guys will be like, yep. Soon as I get to know, I go onto the next one. That's not selling. That is not selling people selling starts. When you get told no, otherwise it's order taking, taking somebodies order, uh, you're working at McDonald's. What can I get? What can I get you today? Right? McDonald's doesn't start selling until they try to up sell you. We quit when we hear the no, well, if they don't want to, they don't, they don't want my stuff. I'll just go to somebody else who does, and they may want it. They just didn't like the way you packaged it. And like the way you presented it, or they just weren't ready to buy. That's why your follow-up game needs to be strong. How do you have a strong follow-up game? First of all, multiple points of touch. You should be using phone texts and email to follow up. You can also use mail, social media, all kinds of ways to follow up, but you should be using multiple touch. If you get stuck using one form of follow-up, you're gonna miss out on a large segment of your audience. For instance, if 15% of your audience uses email and you only use email to follow up, you're missing, you're missing out on 85%. Same way with phone, same way with texts. The list goes on and on and on and on. So use multiple points of touch. Next is follow up consistently. If you send out a quote and you don't hear anything back, how do you know if they got it? So the first point of follow-up should be, Hey, did you get that quote, phone call, email, text something. Hey, did you get that quote? You should get a yes or no. If you don't get a yes or a no, you need to keep pairing that proposal until you're told, "Yes, I got it. No, I didn't." No, I didn't resend it. Yes I did, Let's get you scheduled. The follow-up game needs to be continuous. You're looking basically for them to buy from you or to tell you to pound sand and never come back. That's what you want. We don't want people that live in live in purgatory of I'll know what I'm going to do. Screw that either. Get your checkbook out, write me a check or go the away and never come back. That's what follow-ups all about. Getting them to a definitive. Yes or definitive. No, the first note is not definitive unless they tell you to get the heck out of here. I'm not buying from you, right? So follow game needs to have multiple of touch. You need to be following up continuously and then you need to be following up consistently.
