Timothy made a great choice in following Paul. We might see Paul as cantankerous and too direct. Timothy might have seen him more simply as “dad.” We don’t read about Timothy’s dad. Perhaps Paul stepped in. We know that Timothy followed him. Learned from him. Lean in and we might learn from both of them.
