This week, Rev. Stone brings us a message from the story of the rich young ruler (Mark 10:17-34). We are all inclined to lean upon something or someone other than Christ for our identity and hope. In this passage, we discover how following Christ entails giving over our whole lives for the sake of him who, "though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich.” (2 Corinthians 8:9).
