Welcome back to Following Him With Corbin and Sam. On today’s episode we go through the crucifixion of our Lord and Savior. In the midst of all the uncertainty and hopelessness, we learn how Gods Words are true and are fulfilled. The Cross is where justice and mercy meet, and it necessitates a response from every single person. Will you respond to the Cross like the religious leaders? Or like the centurion who declared surely this is the Son of God? How will you respond to the Cross?

Welcome back to Following Him With Corbin and Sam. On today’s episode we learn how Judas, the chief priests, and Pilate all are blind to their own version of the ‘Blame Game’. Each try to justify and ease their guilt by vindicating themselves through actions before others. When we can openly admit our guilt in genuine repentance and realize we have nothing we can do to rid ourselves from our own guilt, this is where we can enter into the saving faith and rest that only Jesus can provide. We can become like these men and justify ourselves, blame others, and avoid accountability, or we can humbly admit and acknowledge our brokenness and need for a Savior. It’s in this revelation where you can experience a new life, with a new heart, and a new spirit.

Welcome back to Following Him With Corbin and Sam. On today’s episode we got through Matthew 27:30-76. Although we can be courageous with our words, when fear comes, is your faith at a distance from Him or are you close to your Good Shepherd? We learn a valuable lesson that we all experience when fear comes. We must walk closely with the One who watches over our souls and not compromise at a distance with those against Him.

We see that even with miracles, teachings, and witnesses the glory of Jesus for 3 years, not everyone will believe and follow Jesus. There is always a line of those who follow and those who do not. Judas chose not to believe and saw Jesus worth as 39 pieces of silver. But there are also those who are willing to give up a year’s worth of income and see Jesus as priceless. The fruit is always revealed in one’s actions. Do you deny Him? Or proclaim Him? What is Jesus worth to you?

But Jesus shows them how their lack of understanding is rooted in their lack of reading. The same question applies today: How can you know Him if you do not read about Him? Will you just see Jesus as ‘just another man, a good teacher’ like these religious people and miss who He really is? The Lord of All. His Words are the most precious words available to you. What do you do with those words? Read or not read. Understand or don’t understand. Accept or reject. We all have the choice.

Jesus tells His last parable to the religious leaders who has been entrusted with His Words to teach and show the heart of God to the sheep of Gods family. We see, yet again, the rejection of the heart of Jesus and instead wanted to try and win an argument. Are you more concerned with the things of God and welcoming others into Gods will, ways, and family? Or are you more focused on winning an argument to prove your argument? How can you know or understand Gods will and ways outside of a relationship with Him in His Words and teachings?
