In the Catholic Church, the perpetual virginity of Mary is a dogma that you must believe—or else you won’t be saved. But in this video, I’m going to show you why I don’t believe in this doctrine, and how the Bible disproves it. We’ll look at some passages that contradict this idea and why there’s not a single good reason to believe in it.

All of us will inevitably make a decision about Jesus. We will accept Him or reject Him. We will love Him or hate Him. Now, it might take us a while to make our decision, and we might not want to make one at all—but all of us will make a choice. And in John 7, people were faced with that question: “What to do about Jesus?” So today, we’ll see what this passage says and find some practical application for our lives.

Jesus doesn’t always meet our expectations—not because He failed, but because we had the wrong ideas. And in John 7, we see that many people were disappointed in Jesus. He didn’t operate on their timetables, they thought He hadn’t proven Himself, and He seemed like an unlikely Messiah. Last week, we studied John 6, where Jesus declared that He’s the Bread of Life.
