Welcome to The Oaks Community Church Sunday morning worship service. We are so glad you could join us. This morning Pastor Gary Barber is preaching on Luke 6:39-49, “Pits, Planks, Thorns, & Storms.” Today’s message continues the theme of the last week’s message—like going into a sauna. It is a shock to your system, but when it’s over you realize it is good for you. What we will learn today from several short parables of Jesus is we need to examine our hearts. So be ready to be challenged. This is an exciting message, and we know you will be blessed, encouraged in your walk with the Lord, and ministered to by the Holy Spirit.

Today is Communion Sunday so we encourage you to prepare the Communion elements (bread or crackers and juice) so you will be ready to share Communion with us at the end of the service.
