Following Your Curiosity with James Bundy: Episode 119

Listen Later

James Bundy, Dean of Yale School of Drama, joins us in episode 119 of Relate. On this episode, we dissect the art of acting, beginning with a tendency and temptation actors have to focus on how "good" our acting is. James makes clear that the actor sees what the audience sees and, as such, we must follow our curiosities as actors. We discuss the importance of vivid and big imaginations, how chasing perfection is an illusion, and why we must, from time to time, entertain the ideas of our mortal enemies.
