In this episode, we sit down with Charmaine (a.k.a Kuih Kapit), a frequent cheery presence in yoga studios and fitness centres across the Klang Valley. Charmaine is not just a passionate and enthusiastic yoga teacher who strives to teach her students self-compassion, self-acceptance and openness to learning, she is also an advocate for awareness of eating disorders.

Charmaine shares with us her experience with Anorexia and Bulimia, and her journey to developing a healthier relationship with food and fitness. She addresses the pressures of an overly restrictive relationship with food and fitness and the ways she has learned to cope. She also shares her tips on how to spot these difficulties in friends and family, and some ways we can better support our loved ones going through similar situations.
