As the crippling effects of the Covid-19 pandemic are really starting to be felt, concerns are being raised about the high food prices especially for the poor. Some suggestions being made are that the country should come up with better food price controls. But will that help having seen how greedy retailers have become increasing food prices drastically since the lockdown?
