Split meals when you eat out to reduce waste
Try to not binge shop your groceries – shop for that day or the following day and cook
Soak your produce in apple cider vinegar and water to clean it and preserve its shelf life in your home
Shop at your local independent market or bodega – the produce will often be cheaper, of higher quality, and not sprayed with wax.
Look into apps such as Your Local to affect food waste in your community
Practice relentless incrementalism your own personal efforts to reduce food waste
