Fools Gold

Although I like some western books, I was not overly fond of this one. Apparently, the narrator is a rambling lawman with a questionable education, which explains the funky narration but does not make it less irritating. The story could be quite good, if it weren't so shallowly presented. We need to know more about the characters so we can care about them. Dig deeper. Show us the whys and let us care.

Deception comes in many forms

A quick read with headlong action to give you no time to think about the twists and turns of the plot. The Lawmaker never slows down once he gets into it, once the other characters cooperate, the Lawmaker saves the day.

This is a good short story and as usual there's nothing but going straight to the point with no fancy plot. This is a decent read

A good short story. The author gets right to the point. A all I all good read for anyone who likes westerns.
