Footage Therapy Harvest V1 - June 2025
this is documentary of the first year process of Lumbung Practice and forming damdam collective of collectives in the Netherlands. the video harvest brings together visions shaped by our collective process, showing how we’ve moved through the year together, visioned from the lens of videos and narratives that people have brought to the "Footage Therapy" gatherings.
"Footage Therapy" as a method for collectively make a film alongside community and shared narrative, is a form of gathering that people bring their footages about a specific topic and share their stories and feelings. we did this gathering three times, the two in Sandberg during winter 2025 and one in Indonesia, Lombok, Gili Meno in April 2025.
With the sound of people recorded, and their footages, this video was edited and screenened in the closing event of Harvest Festival at de Appel in June 2025.
This is not a film. it is our living family archive, something we nurture with love and care. It is an ongoing harvest and an invitation to develop this draft with your stories and perspectives.
