Here we go with another round of Footprints and Photographs! Kristin and I recently took a hiking trip to Parfrey’s Glen near the Wisconsin Dells. We’ve spent a lot of time hiking around Wisconsin since her and I have been together, but we have not found a place as enjoyable as Parfrey’s Glen! I can’t recommend it enough to any hikers out there looking for an “off the paved trail” kind of experience. With that said, our day didn’t stop there! We pulled a last second audible and decided to stay overnight in the Dells. We booked a cheap motel, checked in, and called a Lyft to take us to the main strip of downtown. I’m really glad we made the decision to stick around because we filled the next 6 hours with nothing but fun. We hopped between bars, checked out various tourist stores, whipped down the Wisconsin River in a jet boat, braved our way through the Haunted Mansion, and topped off our evening by treating ourselves to a haunted boat tour. All in all, we made the right call not to go home. It was a much needed weekend and I got to spend it with my best friend. ❤️
