We tend to think that the Bible is a bit outmoded, even archaic when it comes to sex. It is true that we need to understand the context when we read the Bible. It is not true that the Bible should be dismissed when considering certain topics because it was written for a different time and place. Our job as followers of Christ is to discern the timeless, eternal principles revealed in God's Word to His people.
