After a year of radiation and treatments, Guy’s plan is to make room for his new zest for life, and sharing his story will be a part of his mission.

WHAT??? Brits have used this slogan for over 100 years, it means a nose or mouth and owes its figurative origin to the way birds use their beak to peck at and manipulate its food. Winston Churchill spoke it, J.K Rowling wrote it in the Harry Potter series (British version only), my Mom said it and my Sister signed it in cards and notes she sent me during my breast cancer treatments. It made me smile and reminded me to laugh. And because of cancer, I have a new network of amazing women who have gone through similar treatments. We are the Dragon Flyers and Cancer Chicks who support and inspire each other to live life and laugh out loud. We are all on a new path of strength, optimism, spiritual growth and humour! “Hazardous to illness, humor leads to laughing, smiling, and good feelings” (Bakerman).
