Our guest today is Shayma Saadat an internationally published food writer (Globe and Mail, BBC, New York Times, CBC, Toronto Star, among others), whose work focuses on culture and identity. She is also a cook, food stylist and photographer and recipe developer. A proud Torontonian, Shayma is a Pakistani-Afghan with Persian ancestry, and loves to combine the food of her heritage—which she calls Silk Route Cuisine—with the bounty of her home in Canada.
