Today, we are talking about Leviticus 1. God's people was set apart from the rest of the world, even down to how they worship Him. And Leviticus 1 highlights God's way of making Himself available to everyone that wants to be part of His grace.
Here are some of the every day resources I use to dive deeper into the Bible:
A Study Bible: My translation is a New Living Translation, which has been helpful for me the last ten years in learning to read the Bible.
Youversion Bible: This app is a quick, easy way to read a section in different translations. Sometimes I read a verse in NLT, NIV, ESV, AMP, and The Message to see it from a few different angles and try to understand what is being communicated.
Blue Letter Bible: This website/app is free and full of commentaries, cross references, definitions of root words, and more - it's a great resource for exploring a section of Scripture more in depth.
My recommendation is to read a passage without resources at first, praying and talking to God about help to understand. After that, there are a lot of resources out there!
