Listen Later

In this episode, Sweta and Taylor talk to Nancy Colleton, the President of the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies, which aims to leverage earth observation resources to better understand our planet. Nancy is driven by her love for nature, with an added bit of support and collaboration from NASA, NOAA, the National Science Foundation and other top-notch agencies and institutions dedicated to protecting our collective home. Behind their conservation and forecasting efforts are hard science, data and incredible innovations like satellite technology and AI. We loved getting some fascinating insights into the current state of our environment and all the species (in addition to us) that rely on it, as well as real efforts underway and hope for the future! This is the type of conversation we need in these trying times of COVID-19; one that is positive, forward-looking, are reminding us that we are all in this together!
