We learn in the book of Ezekiel -and elsewhere-, that God does this for the sake of His holy Name and reputation. Too often we forget that.----God is not dependent on humanity to accomplish His purposes. Likewise neither are His hands tied because of man's supposed -free will.- God gets things done and He gets them done His way. Any alleged monkey wrench thrown into the works by people does not sidetrack God's will and purposes at all.
