When you think about God, what comes to mind? For many of us, the very mention of "God" and "Jesus" and "Church" makes us want to change the subject. For others, it raises feelings of shame, guilt, fear, or even anger. But the people who first heard this news of Jesus called it "good news." Is it possible that God is for you? What if God isn’t neutral or against you, but has a desire to bless you, your family, your friends, and the world around you? Wouldn't that be good news? And what if God is inviting you to be a part of his plan for the sake of the world? What if Jesus is still good news to our relationships, families, communities and even the world around us?
