The Apostle Paul had even more in mind when he wrote this letter to the church at Ephesus. He wanted them to know to not only feel God’s presence, he wanted them to grow in the wisdom and understanding of who God is and who they are in Christ.

This was such an important matter to Paul that he prayed for this twice in Ephesians. This is the first of those two prayers. The apostle had just finished sharing with them the source of all the blessings that were receiving and now he moves into calling on God to help them grow in their wisdom and understanding about the power of those blessings. He prays for several things for the church at Ephesus and reveals to us things that we can for as a church as well.
