I read somewhere that For Those About to Rock was ACDC's victory lap after the highly successful album Back in Black. "Highly successful" is an understatement. Back in Black was a tour de force. It signified a band's ability to rise above tragedy and to shift gears on a ride that should have, for all intents and purposes, ended on the highway to hell.
