Recently I've had to deal with what I feel are the most outrageous claims in the world. Someone has put out copyright claims on all of my work that I have done as DJ on my show my stations etc. Someone who I feel should not only be embarrassed, but should be very ashamed. As I DJ, and or make a record mix. I have this to say to you, so you know that I'm in no way shape or form infringing on any of these performers rights artistically or economically. I make sure that their name are stated and spelled properly. This so that listeners know who they are listening to. A fact of the matter is that I do a lot of mixing, creating alot of mixes remixes etc. Many songs with a number of lead singers. This being so, I still have no right to lay claim to the work of these very hard working singers and musicians. That is why it is always as it is right now as I tell you, that the ones who perform in the music that I present to you are who I say they are on the tag. I'm only a DJ doing my mix. I do make recreations of a great number of songs. But the fact that when someone buys something like that. Goes home and uses it just to listen to in the bath or whisky sitting in the back yard. The canburn c even buy it just to take it home and put it on the barbeque out in the back yard and burn the hell out of . As long as that person doesn't try to convince you or I or anyone else out there that it was their work, especially for personal financial gain, then it is theirs to do whatever one would want to do with it for asking as it is not defamatory in any way. Which is what had led me to this point ,writing this so you understand why I'm a little angry because I come up with some pretty good remixes and to have someone target my work laying clai m to it as if they were the performer in the songs. Which I readily let everyone know who is performing song.
That kind of action is illegal copyright action you infringe on all of our rights, the performers and musicians, the mix DJ since that's who the claim is against and the listeners . Because you ruin things for others because youre such a leach. It was the first thing that came to mind.
THE MUSIC YOU HEAR ON MY SHOW TO DAY IS A REMIX CREATION MADE BY MYSELF USING THE MUSIC OF VARIOUS SINGES AND MUSICIANS WHO ARE GREAT AT WHAT THEY DO. THIS BEING THE REASON IVE CHOSEN THEM AS PART OF MY WORK. THE MUSIC YOU HEAR IS NOT FOR SALE OR RESALE. THANK YOU.
