In this three-part podcast series we look at what Freedom of Religion or Belief is, and why it is a fundamental human right. We take a closer look at two countries in Western Africa, often referred to as some of the world’s most “religiously tolerant” countries: The Gambia and Sierra Leone. They share the same coastline and colonial past and are observed to have similar freedom of religion or belief (FoRB) challenges.
