Forces Radio BFBS' Amy Casey called Joy Lofthouse this morning to read some of the lovely messages that were posted on the RAF Banter Facebook yesterday. During the phone call she told me of the sad loss of one of the ladies she served with Molly Rose.

Joy and Molly caught up regularly and had adventures together well into their 90’s. In memory of Molly, we would like to share the ladies together chatting at an air show in 2011. I will find out more about Joy’s trip to the Royal Albert Hall with the BBC but I’m sure she will be rightly honoured along with Mary Ellis for their extraordinary service .
