There are times when we want our computer to automatically come out of sleep mode to perform a function. In this case, I wanted my PC to wake up at 9:30 PM to run a ShadowProtect backup job. ShadowProtect won't wake your computer from sleep, and many other programs and services can't either. And though there are many different ways to do this, this video shows you how to do it simply by using the built in task scheduler to run a dummy batch file. Works like a charm.
