I count this day festive as i remember that our faults were atoned for. The act or decision to forgive is never easy nor instant. I've learnt to regard it a gift, a gift to myself. I have learnt that you can only succeed at forgiving if you have understanding, treat the pain as a lesson and interpret it's purpose with the intention to give yourself power. Put your peace, happiness or whatever is of value to you in that situation or with whoever might not be in good standing with or vis-a-vis first. Always choose to Gift yourself first!
