About Scott Carson
From small-town Texas roots to a nationally recognized authority in note investing, Scott Carson's journey is a testament to the power of entrepreneurship and a strong work ethic. Growing up in Ingleside, Texas, he learned the value of hard work at his family's hardware store. These early lessons shaped his career, leading him to excel in sales and finance. Scott's diverse background includes success in the telecommunications industry with Verizon Wireless and financial services at Citigroup and Chase, where he honed his skills in finance and investing. However, his entrepreneurial spirit led him to the world of real estate and note investing. After leaving the mortgage industry in 2008, Scott transitioned into a full-time real estate investor and coach. He quickly found his niche in the note business, eventually flipping notes and teaching his unique strategies to others. He is the founder of the Note Closure Show podcast and boasts the #1 YouTube channel and podcast for note investors, where he shares his expertise and insights. Scott has been recognized as the Educator of the Year for Note Investors and has been featured in publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Inc. Magazine, and Entrepreneur. He has facilitated over a billion dollars in distressed debt and residential commercial real estate transactions. He continues to help real estate investors across the country take their businesses to the next level by buying performing and non-performing notes. Scott enjoys cooking, sports, traveling and making memories with his family and friends and calling Austin, TX home.
