A foreign hand has yet again emerged in spreading propaganda through an Indian media house. But this is not the first time it has happened. Allegations of interference by Soviet and American spy agencies were used in the slugfest between the Congress and all opposition parties for nearly 40 years. What is new is the recent Chinese meddling, exemplified by businessman Neville Roy Singham who allegedly funded anti-India propaganda via website Newsclick.
