There are three different ways that foreign language tags arrive in your life. These are tags that you attach that don't or shouldn't make sense to you.
1. When someone you like, love or admire says something to you that doesn't make sense. It can be something that is meant to hurt or confuse you. It can be something that they believe about you but you know isn't true.
2. When a stranger says something to you that's offensive. In your complete shock that a COMPLETE stranger said this to you, you dismiss it. However, later you might circle back and attach a related tag after analyzing the details of the foreign interaction.
3. When a number of strangers are talking to each other, not you. You overhear something that's said that happens to spur an emotional injury inside you. You attach tags based on the assumption you're making about what people must say about you behind your back.
